Ellie currently teaches History of Art and Architecture for the University of Cambridge (ICE), the University of Oxford Continuing Education, for the University of Leicester Attenborough Arts Centre, for Leicester Vaughan College, for Pro Artium, and for WEA.

Ellie has previously taught for the University of Leicester Department of History of Art and Film, and for the Vaughan Centre for Lifelong Learning. Between 2002 and 2020 she undertook the roles of Teaching Fellow for Study Skills, Convenor for the BA in Humanities and Arts, Co-ordinator for the Arts Cluster Certificates, and Course Director in History of Art Certificate.

Ellie has also taught at a number of other UK institutions, including the University of Bristol, the University of Richmond (London), and on the MA in Christianity at Sarum College (University of Winchester).
